Breakfast in Brighton, Radio 4 afternoon play
A Pier Production starring Stephen Tompkinson, broadcast September 2000

Intro

This drama-documentary was adapted from my book of the same name. Weaving interviews with real people into a fictional narrative involving a portrait of Shakespeare, Graham Greene, certifiable psychics and resting actresses, the producer, Karen Rose, creates a marvellously evocative soundscape of a sunny place with a chilly edge. A ‘Pick of the Week’.

'...has the elusive and subtly sinister quality that permeates Graham Greene’s Brighton Rock.'
